PEER Group GmbH provides comprehensive equipment integration (EI) and Automation Capabilities Management (ACM) consulting services for semiconductor manufacturing, photovoltaic (PV), and other high-tech customers that need easy, repeatable factory-wide connectivity. With a wealth of experience in diverse manufacturing environments, our engineers enable automation through tool characterization, station controller development, and EI baseline design and development.
We developed our Equipment Automation Framework (EAF) based on extensive experience gained by automating semiconductor fabrication facilities throughout Europe for over 20 years. EAF is used in semiconductor front-end and back-end fabs and PV factories to enable fast, reusable, and easy equipment integration.
We provide Automation Capabilities Management (ACM), an automation consulting and testing service that is tailored to the specific requirements of both IC makers and equipment suppliers. And, our DiDaCT testing software is instrumental in testing automation interfaces of semiconductor and PV equipment.
Our engineers actively participate in automation standards development. We are voting members of several SEMI® Technical Committees, work actively on various SEMI task forces, have made significant contributions numerous SEMI Standards, and provide leadership on other technology committees including VDMA – OPC UA companion spec development and the Silicon Saxony Board.
