We at Matabooks are a young and sustainable company based in Dresden, Germany, that aims to reshape the book industry.
We deal with forward-looking media technologies and are the first company in Germany to produce V-Label certified books from grass paper. We do not use any animal components at all, rely on eco-printing inks and local, resource-saving production.

YOUR ROLE:

- you deal with customer acquisition and look after our existing customers in the areas of book and retail trade by mail, telephone and personally on site
- you approach new customers confidently and precisely
- you independently develop sales strategies and implement them in cooperation with our marketing department
- you communicate the sustainable positioning of Matabooks and explore further market potentials
- you shape the development and establishment of long-term customer relationships
- you collect and maintain customer data

YOUR SKILLSET:

- you have completed commercial training and/or a business degree and have at least two years of professional experience in sales
- you have negotiation skills and keep an eye on optimization possibilities for our customer and service potentials
- you like to take responsibility and have experience in working independently
- you are communicative and have a strong hands-on mentality
- you have a competent and customer-oriented appearance
- you are business fluent in German and English
nice to have: You have a good industry network and already have experience in bookselling, publishing or book marketing
