As a Junior Software Engineer - Professional Services (m/w/d) in factory automation you are the interface between the customer, machine supplier, machine and manufacturing control systems.
The support of you and your team is essential to the integration of new machines into the digital communications infrastructure required for production.
You can expect:
- Exciting tasks in a rapidly developing and challenging high-tech environment
- To develop customized automation solutions for Industry 4.0 based on PEER Group‘s Equipment Automation Framework (EAF)
- Work spanning the full spectrum of tasks required to integrate machines in the factory from requirements collection through development of machine specific software adaptations and customer specific software solutions to the creation of machine simulators and execution of acceptance tests in the factory
- To be in continuous proactive contact with customers and machine suppliers, working independently in a structured and solution oriented style
- To create and maintain technical documentation for all your work
You bring:
- Great enthusiasm for technology and software development
- A completed degree in a STEM subject or equivalent job experience
- Experience with software design and development in C# or other object oriented language (Java, C++, …)
- Open mindedness and organization in professional interactions with customers and suppliers
- Sufficient German and English skills to communicate in meetings and per e-mail as well as for the reading and writing of technical documentation, or you have this as a near term goal
- Openness for temporary on-site or travel assignments up to 20% of your working time
