Do you love challenges?

You will provide responsive, professional and competent technical support and maintenance of infrastructure monitoring systems for our Data Centers and customer systems. You will be part of a team with focus on establishing global high-quality service delivered in line with global standards, compliances and SLA expectation.
■ Administrate and maintain internal monitoring environment of multiple toolsets.
■ Designing, assessing and implementing infrastructure monitoring and data analytics / reporting solutions.
■ Adjusting the environment to upcoming requests and changes.
■ Troubleshooting Infrastructure monitoring issues and development of IT tools and processes.
■ Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards (scalability).
■ Recommend improvements and resolve enquiries, issues or problems.
■ Document actions taken for continuous service improvement and ensure that documentation is maintained and kept up to date in line with internal company standards and policies.
■ Co-operate with 3rd Level expert teams and / or vendor support to provide technical input into incident and problem resolution process.
■ Preparation of presentations and reports in accordance with the recommendations of the superior.
■ Active participation in training, knowledge sharing and constant improvement of qualifications.

Convince us with your potential

■ Experience in supporting one of the following toolsets: Splunk, Zabbix, ELK or other monitoring / analytics solutions.
■ A vocational training in the IT field or a university degree (e.g. computer science, business informatics). Lateral entry with corresponding practical experience is also possible.
■ Basic knowledge of Ansible / AWX.
■ Self-handling of operating systems (Windows, Linux).
■ Scripting experience in at least one of programming languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
■ General understanding of networks, IPv4, firewalls and proxies.
■ ITIL knowledge.
■ Basic experience in dealing with IT ticketing systems.
■ Fluent English skills, German skills are an advantage.
■ Excellent verbal and presentation skills, great interpersonal skills and experience in international collaboration.
■ Self-motivated, team player, learners’ mindset.
■ Strong understanding of business and the organizations goals and objectives as well as strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
■ Willing to work in regular on-call duties and able to travel if required.
